Scuba Certification

At Chalfont Divers, we’re guessing that once you try snorkeling or Scuba diving that you’ll be hooked. Great news… you can complete your Scuba certification right here in Bucks County and achieve the credentials and licensing you need to dive just about everywhere in the world!

We provide PADI classes and coursework for certification of all levels of divers. From “Open Water Diver”, the base certification you need to dive globally to “Instructor” where you decide to make a career out of Scuba. We can help you with all of it.”

Personalized Lessons

The primary difference between Chalfont Divers and other local dive shops is our small class sizes and personalized lessons. We move at a pace that is perfect for you, your pace! Our class sizes are never more than a few people, and in most cases are just you and your friends/family.

If you struggle with a particular skill, we will be patient and help you master that skill at your own pace so that you become a comfortable and safe diver. You won’t be rushed because we’re not tied to established timelines and hours. We work with your schedule

Equipment

While it’s true that Scuba diving can become a really expensive hobby, the reality is that it doesn’t need to be for most people. At Chalfont Divers, we provide all of the necessary equipment you need to achieve your Open Water Diver certification.

We do recommend that all divers purchase their own mask and fins, as it is a highly subjective piece of equipment that provides lots of options. The great news is that we have tons of different styles for you to try, and can offer significant discounts if you choose to buy your own equipment.

Group Sessions

Do you have a small group that would like to try out Scuba diving? Chalfont Divers offers a fun experience for groups of all different ages. We can spend 1-2 hours with your group teaching you all the basics and letting you try breathing underwater.

⦁ Bring your small group to us in Bucks County, or we can even come to your pool for a more personalized experience. An excellent adventure for Scouting America (Boy Scouts), Girl Scouts, summer camps and more!

Guided Dives Sessions

Has it been a while since you dove locally and need a guide? Do you want an experienced buddy to help watch out for you and refresh yours dive skills? Are you looking to use Lake Hydra (Dutch Springs), but don’t have the required instructor insurance?

We can help. Contact Chalfont divers and we can arrange a certified Divemaster or Instructor to help you with local diving in Southeastern PA and NJ.
