Meet Our Instructors/Trainers
Matt Piserchio –
Master Scuba Diver Trainer
I am a Padi Certified MSDT. I was initially certified in central Pennsylvania and conducted my certifications in the Susquehanna River in Lock Haven, PA. In 1998, I moved to Chalfont, PA and immediately began searching for a new Instructor role in a local dive shop. I quickly became the Chief Instructor for F.F. Divers in Sellersville, PA. Our pool sessions were conducted at Penn Ridge High School in Perkasie, PA as well as the Lenape Valley Swim Club in Chalfont.
Unfortunately, F.F. Divers’ physical store closed in 2012. Since that time, I have been conducting classes in my own pool in Chalfont, PA with small, personalized classes. My focus is on friendly, fun and safe instruction. But if you have at least a 7 foot deep-end in your own pool, I can also train at your home if within approximately 15 miles of the Chalfont, Doylestown, Lansdale, or Horsham areas.
Bill Dorn –
Divemaster
Bill took up Scuba diving during the covid pandemic. Matt told him “If you have to wear a mask, it might as well be a cool looking one”. Over the next couple of years, Bill was hooked and became an Advanced Open Water Diver, then Rescue Diver, and then Dive Master. Eventually, he’ll be going the full instructor route.
Bill was born and raised in Bucks County. He’s an engineer turned boring businessman, but still likes to tinker with electronic gadgets and machines. He sold his supply chain consulting firm in 2018 and now is an executive for a SaaS fintech. “Scuba diving is a lot more exciting.”
